mailsweep is a web app that helps you clear a crowded Gmail inbox. It connects to your Google account, groups your inbox into batches — by sender, subject, mailing list, date received, or size — and lets you act on a whole batch at once instead of one message at a time.

What you can do with it

How it uses your Google account

mailsweep reads message headers — sender, subject, date, size and labels — to group your inbox, and changes labels to carry out the actions you choose. It does not read or store the body of your emails or any attachments, and it never sends mail on your behalf. You can disconnect it at any time, and deleting your account removes your data and revokes its access to Google.
